Why Easter is So Special to Me

Easter is a time of re-birth.

I feel like nature surrounds us with the reminder that flowers are blooming again, the sun is shining more, and as Easter approaches we remember the importance of our Savior and his divine love for us.

Easter is a time to celebrate Christ and His Resurrection.

To me, Easter is a reminder that the Savior loved us so much, that he underwent the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Christ died for our sins, he had all powers to save himself, and yet, he endured all the suffering so that we can ultimately have the chance to be with him again someday.

Through Christ’s atoning sacrifice, we can find hope in knowing that despite our many worldly faults, we can find our way back to Him.

Christ was resurrected on the third day after his burial.

Christ’s resurrection always reminds me of His Holiness.

Christ was able to be resurrected and to return to his Father, our Heavenly Father.

Evenmore, Christ lives peacefully with our Heavenly Father, and yet, he is always there for us individually. Christ is there for us through our greatest moments, as well as through our tearful sorrows.

To remember our Savior on Easter is such a joyous occasion.

Easter is a fun holiday to celebrate because of the egg hunts and chocolates and bunnies and more.

But beyond all of these fun little traditions related to Easter, our Savior and his Resurrection is the focus of Easter for me.

Our Savior who is the God of miracles, is celebrated on Easter and it’s such a joyous occasion.

Easter will always be special to me for many reasons, but most of all, Easter feels my heart with joy and love for our Savior Jesus Christ and for the love He has for each and everyone of us.

I hope you enjoy your Easter Sunday.
